A ductless heat pump system is designed to cool or heat a condition space by providing cooling in the summer and heating in the winter. The cooling is accomplished by metering liquid refrigerant with the use of a metering device to control the amount of liquid refrigerant entering the evaporator. This liquid then evaporates by absorbing heat from the condition space by the use of a fan motor. The refrigerant at this stage turns to low pressure gas, which then travels back to the compressor to be compressed and starts the process all over. The heating process occurs in the opposite way by the use of a four way reversing valve. This valve changes the flow of the refrigerant so that the system is now conditioning the outside or pulling heat from the outside (due to the refrigerant being colder than the outside temperature) and dumping it inside the space.
These systems run a lot quieter than standard window units, portable A/C units or Petac units with a very low dba and draws very little amperage which is great for your electric bill. Having one of these system installed by a qualified individual means:
- you will have your system performing at maximum efficiency
- correct installation procedures performed according to manufacture specifications
- correct size electrical wires and breaker etc.
Ductless Systems are great for your home, office computer room or just about anywhere you would like to heat or cool. You are in control by cooling or heating area of your comfort, rather than having to maintain temperature in areas you don’t need to. These systems are also required by manufacturer to be serviced once per year.
Heat Pump Service Repair & Install
Heat Pump Service – it is recommended by the manufacturer to have your system inspect and service once per year.
