- Compressor– This is the heart of the refrigeration system, which compresses low temperature and low refrigerant vapour into a smaller volumes. The compressor pumps this vapour to the condenser where the heat is released from the refrigerant as it condenses.
- Evaporator– this is a heat exchanging device that absorbs heat and is placed in areas where heat needs to be removed.
- Metering Device- this component restricts the flow of liquid refrigerant to create the proper pressure drop between the b high side and low side of the air-conditioner system.
