HVAC Technician
Job description
Knowledge HVAC & Refrigeration Ltd is seeking an experienced Air Conditioner, Heating, Gas Fitter, Boiler, Tankless & Hot Water Heater, Installer and Service Technician. Note: You should need little to no supervision.
Duties:
- Service, diagnose, repair and install residential air conditioners, furnaces, boilers, ductless, tankless or water heaters, heat pumps.
- If you have commercial experience this is an asset but not required.
License/Certification:
- Class 5 driver’s license (preferred)
- Gas B (preferred)
- air conditioning & refrigeration license (preferred)
- Sheet Metal Fabrication experience (preferred)
Qualities:
- Explain the benefits of newer highly efficient equipment to the customer.
- Don’t upsell customers on repairs they don’t need.
- Provide professional experience to customers on every call.
- Feel comfortable requesting online reviews from customers.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean record
- Clear criminal record
- Comfortable working from heights and using a ladder
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively within a team environment to complete installations and commissioning of HVAC Systems.
- Strong customer service skills
